The PURPOSE STATEMENT answers the question, “Why does White Oak Baptist Church exist?”
“The purpose of White Oak Baptist Church is to glorify God through His Son Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church, in the power of the Holy Spirit by making disciples of Jesus Christ.

The MISSION STATEMENT answers the question, “How will White Oak Baptist Church accomplish their purpose?”
“The Basic Function of this local church, which shall enable us to accomplish our purpose, may be summarized as follows: 1) Worship, 2) Evangelism and Missions, 3) Discipleship, 4) Ministry, 5) Fellowship, 6) Prayer.”

The VISION STATEMENT is then a picture of what such a church ought to look like:
“We envision White Oak Baptist Church as a Christ-centered body whose members aspire to spiritual maturity, exercise their spiritual gifts sacrificially, and live out their faith in boldness, freedom and unity.”
