What to expect when you visit
Our worship services are structured, reverent, and intentionally Christ-focused.
We begin at 10am with a scripture reading and a prayer, followed by singing songs of worship to the Lord.
A time of testimony and corporate prayer.
(Communion on the first Sunday of each month)
Preaching of the Word.
Our desire is to understand His Word, in its context, and so we preach verse-by-verse (currently in the Gospel of Mark!)
We then respond by singing one more song to the Lord followed by a benediction.

Coffee and Bagels (and sometimes other treats) are served in the foyer during a time of fellowship - then adult and children's Sunday School classes begin at 11:45am and run until 12:30pm

Children in Worship
We love to include our children in worship throughout the service!
We believe its important for families to worship together, however we do have a nursery available for the littlest ones (up to 5), but we encourage all of our families to worship together. Activity bags are also available if needed.
And don't worry, the sound of children is a sign of a healthy church!

Our Mission
At White Oak Baptist Church, we believe in the Biblical triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the importance of discipleship and seek to help each other grow in our walk with Christ.
Worship
Scripture teaches that worship is a vital part of the Christian life. We sing a variety of worship styles, including traditional hymns and contemporary songs.
Fellowship
Scripture teaches that fellowship is an important aspect of the Christian life. We offer opportunities for fellowship through various gatherings and events.
Service
Scripture teaches that service is an expression of our faith. We offer opportunities for service within our church and in our community.
Our desire is to be a community of believers who are firmly grounded in the Word of God.
We desire to be in a relationship with God through our Savior Jesus Christ, with the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit who lives in all believers.
This bears fruit in Biblical, authentic Christianity through worship, discipleship, ministry, service, prayer and sharing our faith locally and around the world.
We desire to see each individual in our church family grow into maturity in Christ as they Become Christ's Follower, Belong to His Family and Participate in His Mission!
