Worship
Scripture teaches that worship is a vital part of the Christian life. We sing a variety of worship styles, including traditional hymns and contemporary songs.
Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM in Cheshire, CT.
Our worship services are structured, reverent, and intentionally Christ-focused.
We begin at 10am with a scripture reading and prayer, followed by singing songs of worship.
Followed by a time of testimony and corporate prayer. (Communion on the first Sunday of each month)
Preaching of the Word. Our desire is to understand His Word together, in its context, verse-by-verse (currently in Acts!)
We then respond by singing one more song to the Lord followed by a benediction.
Coffee and Bagels (and sometimes other treats) are served in the foyer during a time of fellowship. Followed by adult and children's Sunday School classes from 11:45am until 12:30pm.
We love to include our children in worship throughout the service!
We believe it's important for families to worship together, however we do have a nursery available for the littlest ones (up to 5), but we encourage all of our families to worship together. Activity bags are also available if needed.
And don't worry, the sound of children is a sign of a healthy church!
At White Oak Baptist Church, we believe in the Biblical triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in the importance of discipleship and seek to help each other grow in our walk with Christ.

Scripture teaches that service is an expression of our faith. We offer opportunities for service within our church and in our community.
Our desire is to be a community of believers who are firmly grounded in the Word of God. We desire to see each individual in our church family grow into maturity in Christ as they Become Christ's Follower, Belong to His Family and Participate in His Mission!
