- 1980
Home Bible studies begin led by Norwood Waterhouse.
- 1986
Church planter Darrel Williams begins weekly worship services.
- 1989
Church planter Robert Cline assumes pastoral leadership of White Oak.
- 1991
After meeting in seven different locations, White Oak begins renting space from the Advent Christian Church of Wallingford.
- September 20, 1992
White Oak holds a church constitution service.
- 1994
Mark Angerosa assumes pastoral leadership.
- 1999
White Oak purchases 20 N. Whittlesey Ave from Advent Christian Church for $50,000.
- 2000
White Oak makes its first international missions trip to Haiti.
- 2003
White Oak enters into a 3-year partnership with South Georgia Street Baptist Church of Amarillo, TX to assist with major renovations in the building.
- July 2006
White Oak's largest outreach takes place at Community Lake where over 450 people hear the Gospel message.
- November 2007
White Oak holds a building dedication service following the completion of its renovations.
- July 2015
Christ Community Church of Cheshire approached White Oak Baptist Church of Wallingford and made a most generous offer: Expand your ministry by using this property God has blessed us with, and we will support you by coming under your leadership and care.
- October 18, 2015
Both churches vote to approve the merger.
- November 1, 2015
White Oak leads worship in Wallingford while conducting orientation classes and worship in Cheshire.
- April 24, 2016
Members of the former Christ Community Church are received into the membership of White Oak Baptist Church.
- June 5, 2016
Joint worship begins at our Cheshire campus.
- 2024
Ryan Pitt assumes pastoral leadership.
- Today
White Oak continues to grow as a worshiping, welcoming and disciple-making community.
